Volunteer Center Orange County strengthens our communities by mobilizing volunteer action and accelerating nonprofit success.

Our History                                                                     Founded in 1958, Volunteer Center Orange County has a 50-year track record of encouraging people to become personally involved in making our community a good and welcoming place to live, work, and raise a family.  Since its early beginning, we have developed ways for people to best use their valuable time and talent to help others.  Volunteer Center Orange County was the very first community service project of the Junior League of Orange County. 

Today  
Today, we have grown and matured into the fifth largest and most comprehensive of the 350 volunteer centers nationwide.  We also enjoy a partnership with Points of Light Foundation and Hands On Network.

We provide services to all 34 cities in Orange County and are comprised of an active governing board and a professional staff of 22. 

In 2008 Volunteer Center Orange County celebrates 50 years of service in the Orange County community. Our golden anniversary celebration would not be possible without the generous support of our Title Sponsor, Fluor. Join us in creating change by volunteering today!
